Job Description: The Rio Salado College Institutional Advancement Department is an established group of individuals who work in public relations, marketing, media relations, social media, graphic design, videography, UX/IU, CRM and website and project management. We are seeking a content marketing and/or marketing analyst intern. The content marketing intern is one who desires hands-on experience writing short- and long-form content to support our content marketing strategy, communication plans, social media efforts and SEO. The marketing analyst intern is one who will assist with data analysis, communications analysis, writing and marketing plans. While you're here, you can meet on a regular basis with team members to learn about their fields of expertise and explore options available in PR. We desire someone who possesses strong storytelling skills (both written and visual) and has a clear and relatable voice. Primary responsibility will be to contribute timely and relevant articles to the RioNews Blog and recently launched monthly student and alumni newsletters, as well as social media content. Intern(s) may interview new-to-college students seeking associates degrees, faculty members discussing future careers or alumni sharing their educational and career paths.
