KPMG is currently seeking a Security Dispatch Officer to join our Lakehouse Campus Security team.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the dispatch operation, multitask by gathering and evaluating data from multiple sources; coordinate officer movement and overall shift communications; conduct audits of daily use equipment including badges, radios and keys
  • Coordinate the inspections of security devices/technological components and coordinate vendor response; update on repair status provided to supervisors on a regular basis; maintain a log of all related service calls and subsequent resolution
  • Handle all issues and complaints in a professional and composed manner, as well as assist learners/employees during emergency situations
  • Gather metrics of performance to share with the shift supervisor and will also leverage this data to create and implement training scenarios; compile daily activity into an email pass down for the department at the end of each shift
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees and learners; maintain awareness of undesirable people on property premises and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in security or law enforcement, and prior dispatch or experience in a multitasking environment is preferred
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience with the use of current business applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as well as current camera and telecommunications technology is preferred
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period; may require flexibility to work on any shift as business needs dictate
