We're seeking a Lead Structured Cabling Technician to run commercial low-voltage projects from kickoff through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can read prints, manage crews, maintain quality standards, and keep projects moving on schedule. Key Responsibilities * Run structured cabling projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity. * Interpret and execute from blueprints, construction drawings, and project documentation. * Establish and manage cable pathways including J-hooks, ladders, trays, and conduits. * Pull, dress, label, and terminate copper cabling (Cat5e/Cat6). * Build, organize, and maintain telecom and communications rooms. * Perform Fluke certification testing, including: * Proper tester setup * Correct cable IDs * Accurate project naming * Troubleshoot cabling issues and resolve test failures. * Lead and manage installation crews, ensuring productivity, safety, and workmanship quality. * Provide daily progress reports including cable counts, completed work, issues, and delays.
