Location: San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities:

Teach all levels (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) of undergraduate French-language program and advanced courses in French and/or Francophone literature and cultures. Aid in curriculum development for the department of Modem Languages and Literatures, as well as for the First-Year experience program. Teach University-wide First-Year Experience courses.

Educ./experience:

PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Romance Languages, French, or related field, plus one academic year (9 months) of post-baccalaureate experience as an Assistant Professor of French or in a related position at the University level. Experience must include teaching French or Romance Literature at the University level, research in French or Francophone literature, curriculum development, and French history and cultural studies. Must have at least two (2) articles published in peer review journals covering the field of French language.
