GUIDELINE DEVELOPMENT AND QUALITY MANAGER

What you'll do.

The Guideline Development and Quality Manager partners with volunteers and the quality team to drive the development of clinical guidelines and systematic reviews that elevate care for patients with neurological conditions. In this role, the manager leads the day-to-day coordination of a portfolio of AAN guidelines in development, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and effectively. The position also administers AAN responses to external organizations requesting guideline reviews or affirmations and supports the development and publication of Quality Committee documents.

What we look for.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Care Management, Nursing or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience; initiating projects, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold the AAN's values
  • Ability to provide clear instructions to staff, work groups and panels
  • Demonstrated skill, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and professionalism in interactions with teams, members, and other relevant individuals or groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office for word, spreadsheet, and presentations
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to deliver results when facing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as actively contribute to project teams
  • Experience working in the health care industry or membership association is preferred

Relevant education and/or experience exceeding the required qualifications may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required - up to 5%

Location: Minneapolis, MN, and is identified as hybrid (required to work in the office with the ability to work remotely part of the week)

Schedule: Occasional evening and weekends required
