Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Supports the company's financial planning process to develop an accurate annual budget and subsequent forecasts by coordinating cross-functionally on appropriate assumptions and inputs.

* Supports the monthly reporting and analysis of results to provide accurate, timely and useful information to key stakeholders by bridging actual financial performance to the budget, forecast and historic periods in a clear, concise presentation.

* Prepares and clearly presents materials to an executive level audience regarding business performance and forecasts.

* Develops a solid understanding of the business, product lines and manufacturing processes to help analyze and effectively communicate key drivers of business performance; proactively identifies negative deviations from expected results and provides a causal analysis.

* Develops a solid understanding of manufacturing costs (material, labor, and overhead) to support pricing strategies, profitability modeling and analysis.

* Supports efforts to develop business cases for improvement projects by providing historical trend data and vetted forecasted costs and benefits.

* Supports the development of long-range business forecasts based on the strategic plan and incorporates variable input dynamic financial modeling to determine outcomes.

* Drives working capital improvements by creating balance sheet and cashflow budgets and forecasts; bridges forecast to actual results and effectively communicates needed improvements.

* Embraces system tools (Business and Artificial Intelligence) to add efficiency to the reporting and analysis process; actively converts time spent gathering data into time spent analyzing and communicating useful information.

* Builds and maintains a set of reports which are accurate and timely generated on a regular cadence.

* Drives process improvements to increase efficiency

Qualifications

* Education/Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

* 5 - 7 years of progressive finance / accounting experience, with a focus on analytical activities, preferably within a manufacturing organization.

* Licenses/Certifications:

o None

* Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

* Strong understanding of system tools and financial analysis techniques.

* Excellent analytical and communication skills
