The Center for Global Mental Health Equity currently seeks a full-time Senior Research Assistant to support the analysis and visualization of data across several clinical trials in both domestic and global settings. At large, the center implements research and capacity building initiatives that address systemic barriers to accessible, effective mental health care in low- and middle-income contexts. With a diversity of National Institute of Mental Health ( NIMH)-funded grants, World Health Organization ( WHO) collaborations, and other institutional partnerships among its project portfolio, it utilizes community participatory research-based approaches to feasibly address the mental health needs of peoples worldwide.

Duties :

  • Contribute to the design and development of a data visualization and reporting system to support multi-site research collaboration across more than 10 international partners.
  • Under the supervision of senior level staff, support the management, cleaning, and integration of complex datasets from multiple projects to ensure high data quality and usability.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and advanced quantitative modeling to support ongoing research studies and publications.
  • Under the supervision of senior level staff, apply machine learning and data science methods as part of a research initiative funded by OpenAI.
  • Support with generating dashboards, visualizations, and analytic reports to communicate findings to investigators and international collaborators.
  • Contribute to research dissemination, including manuscripts, presentations, and grant-related deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to support data infrastructure, analytic workflows, and project milestones.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS and 1 year of experience in a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language for data cleaning, analysis, and visualization is desired.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and frameworks, or dashboard tools.
  • Exposure to data cleaning, merging, and management of multi-source datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary research teams.

Hiring Range $18.51 - $28.21
