Job Summary The Setup Machinist I is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including mills, lathes, or grinders. This role performs quality checks, supports safe work practices, and maintains an organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to work instructions and production requirements. Complete required quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S standards. Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or quality concerns as needed. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up CNC mills, lathes, or grinders. Ability to perform required quality checks and follow work instructions. Knowledge of 5S practices and workplace safety standards. Additional CNC machine setup experience preferred.
