The Veterans Affairs business unit helps transform the VA into a modern digital services organization where Veteran outcomes are at the center of every effort. We partner with the VA to design and deliver seamless user experiences for Veterans, their families and caregivers, and VA employees. By applying better practices in service design, product management, and technology, we enable the VA to increase the use, quality, and reliability of services and decrease the time Veterans spend waiting for outcomes. Primary Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the modernization, enhancement, integration, and sustainment of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Experience Services (VES) platform and its integration with VistA and Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) systems. In this role, you will design, develop, analyze, and support software solutions that improve Veteran eligibility determination processes and enable secure, reliable data exchange between enterprise VA systems. You will work across both legacy and modernized technology stacks, supporting mission-critical applications that directly impact Veterans' access to healthcare benefits and services. This position operates within an Agile delivery environment and requires collaboration with product owners, architects, testers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant software solutions.
