Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on cloud architecture, security, networking, monitoring, disaster recovery, cloud migrations, and operational support within a mission-critical environment. The engineer will provide technical guidance to team members and leadership while ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable Azure ecosystem.

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Provide guidance on Azure resource deployment, networking, security policies, and best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production applications and cloud environments.
• Plan and execute cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Develop and maintain backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Create and manage monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, Alerts, and related tools.
• Manage vulnerability remediation efforts using security tools such as Tenable.
• Collaborate with teams supporting .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise technologies.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure meets performance, availability, and security requirements.
• Provide technical recommendations and guidance to management and leadership.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure administration and engineering.
• Experience implementing and managing Azure networking, security, and cloud resources.
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise environments.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Experience planning and executing cloud migration projects.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems.
• Experience using Azure monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, OSI model, and network protocols.

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Networking certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Experience working across diverse technology environments including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.

• Enterprise cloud infrastructure environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with operations, security, development, and leadership teams.
• Focus on high availability, security, and operational excellence.
