Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career.

THE ROLE:

Join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on developing next-generation ASIC and SoC technologies that power advanced computing platforms. As a Senior Modeling Engineer, you will play a critical role in enabling architecture exploration, ASIC verification, and software development acceleration through the creation of sophisticated system models. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware, software, and system architecture, partnering closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, and software teams. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing product development early in the design cycle, and building tools that accelerate innovation, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys tackling complex system-level challenges. You possess strong analytical and debugging skills, a passion for modeling and simulation, and the ability to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines. You are comfortable navigating both hardware and software domains, communicating technical concepts clearly, and driving solutions from concept through implementation. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance independent ownership with teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and integrate high-level and cycle-accurate models for complex ASIC and SoC platforms.
  • Create models that facilitate architecture exploration, ASIC verification, and software development acceleration.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and software engineering teams to develop reusable validation environments.
  • Develop transaction-level and cycle-accurate models for system performance analysis, deadlock detection, arbitration, and credit-loop validation.
  • Integrate ARM Fast Models into SystemC-based simulation environments.
  • Investigate and debug architectural, functional, and performance-related issues across hardware and software stacks.
  • Contribute to system-level modeling initiatives utilizing frameworks such as SystemC and OMNeT.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve modeling, simulation, and validation workflows.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience developing models for ASIC verification and software development acceleration.
  • Strong programming background using C++ and STL/Boost libraries.
  • Experience collaborating with ASIC design and verification teams to create reusable validation models.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills with the ability to identify architecture, functionality, and performance issues.
  • Experience with ARM Fast Models and integration into system-level simulation environments.
  • Exposure to ISA model development and implementation.
  • Experience creating cycle-accurate and transaction-level models for complex system behaviors.
  • Familiarity with modeling frameworks such as SystemC and OMNeT.
  • Experience with scripting and automation solutions supporting engineering workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages: C, C++, Python, SystemC/SystemVerilog
  • Modeling & Simulation: SystemC, ARM Fast Models, ISA Modeling, Transaction-Level Modeling
  • Libraries & Tools: Boost, STL, OMNeT
  • CPU or Networking background

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline preferred.
