The UMKC Berkley Child and Family Development Center, located on the UMKC-Volker campus, has a current opening for a Part-Time Food Service Worker IV. In this position you will provide skilled work in the cooking and preparation of foods from recipes for lunch and snacks at the Berkley Child and Family Development Center. Work is subject to regular checks for adherence to recipes, and compliance to the sanitary standards of The National Association for the Education of Young Children, State Licensing Board for Child Care Centers, and the Child & Adult Care Food Program. The kitchen is the heart of a home, and that is no different here at Berkley. Successful candidates will need to enjoy working with children, as you will be a critical part of the team, with daily interactions with children and families. A desire to provide high quality customer service is strongly preferred. Experience working in a preschool or child care environment preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $19.00 an hour. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
