Military Flight Controls Division Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace's Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of division-wide information systems and services that enable business growth and operational excellence. This role drives the delivery of innovative, scalable technology solutions, optimizes resources, and partners with leadership to solve complex business challenges. The position also shapes divisional IT strategy, advances enterprise system adoption, and ensures alignment with Corporate I/T priorities and long-term business goals.

SCOPE/SUPERVISION AND INTERACTION:

Works with division staff personnel while reporting to the General Manager (or Division Staff Manager where appropriate) with functional reporting to the Group IT Manager and onward to the CIO. Supervises the division programming, computer operation and application support personnel. Close interaction with all the Corporate IT departments is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and execution of the division's annual IT strategy and operating plan, including manufacturing systems, financial applications, infrastructure, resource planning, and budget forecasting to support business objectives.
  • Direct the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical business systems and services, ensuring reliable support for manufacturing, engineering, office, and other essential operational functions.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices to drive consistent performance, operational efficiency, compliance, future scalability, and alignment with Corporate IT direction and goals.
  • Partner with division leadership and end users to evaluate business needs and deliver effective technology solutions, ensuring systems and services meet performance expectations and evolving user requirements.
  • Develop organizational capability by recruiting, coaching, and leading IT talent, while ensuring effective training and user adoption of division information systems.
  • Collaborate with Group and Corporate IT teams on strategic initiatives, governance forums, and special projects, providing timely input on emerging technologies, investment opportunities, and division priorities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree or relevant technical certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including responsibility for business systems, infrastructure, applications, and technology strategy within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong business and systems knowledge in manufacturing operations, with experience supporting areas such as ERP, financial systems, plant systems, engineering applications, infrastructure, and end-user technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with business objectives, identify opportunities for process improvement, and deliver scalable technology solutions that support operational performance and growth.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and developing talent, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills, including strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, project leadership, organizational effectiveness, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence leaders, collaborate across functions, and translate technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and execution, including high standards for quality, timeliness, accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to promote user adoption and organizational capability through training, change management, and effective support of division-wide systems and services.
  • Working knowledge of corporate governance, IT standards, cybersecurity expectations, and compliance practices to ensure alignment, sustainability, and long-term maintainability of systems.

  • Pay Range: $156900 to $274550 annually
