Job Description

We are currently hiring a Brewing Maintenance Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the Maintenance team in day-to-day operations to ensure proper maintenance and repair of brewery, utilities and facilities equipment leading to successful facility operation.

What You'll Brew:

  • Promote a teamoriented, Safety First culture and ensure all work supports brewery quality standards.
  • Follow all brewery procedures, PPE requirements, sanitation practices, and GMP guidelines.
  • Lead and direct the Maintenance team to maintain equipment to company specifications and support production goals.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance is completed and equipment reliability is maximized to improve line uptime and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements, training programs, and operational best practices.
  • Manage all facility and utility systems, including air, steam/condensate, refrigeration, CO, water/wastewater, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • Use visual factory concepts and performance metrics to identify and prioritize maintenance opportunities.
  • Assist with capital projects, productivity initiatives, and crossfunctional improvement teams.
  • Oversee contractors and ensure safe, compliant work on site.
  • Maintain strong communication with Production, Brewing, and Maintenance teams through regular floor presence.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities in a fastpaced, dynamic environment while upholding company policies and values.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of maintenance or operations experience, ideally in highspeed manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • 2-5 years of proven supervisory experience with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
  • Solid technical knowledge of beverageindustry equipment and processes.
  • Experience with statistical process control and structured problemsolving.
  • At least 1 year applying and explaining LEAN manufacturing principles; experience leading processimprovement teams.
  • Strong communication, followthrough, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
  • Effective conflictresolution abilities and sound decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities with a positive, solutionsfocused mindset.
  • Proficient with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Level: 7M

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $62,000 - $114,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
