Description
Primary Purpose: Responsible for daily tasks related to trust operation functions by providing operational support to the Trust and Financial Services and its clients. Essential Responsibilities:
- Processes security movement by the funding, researching, re-registering, and monitoring all incoming assets for new and existing accounts.
- Completes all tasks and duties required to process and service loans on trust accounts. Activities include, but not limited to, set-up and establishment of loans, the proper verification and documentation of collateral; servicing accounts; processing payments; and paying out and releasing loan collateral.
- Processes routine file maintenance changes on client accounts; trust account fees monthly; statements for distribution; scheduled disbursement, deposit, and transfer on client accounts; electronic form deposits; monthly insurance updates for client accounts; weekly money market rate changes; import of quarterly estimated tax liabilities, backup withholding tax, and helps with year-end tax processing.
- Retrieves and processes daily accrual funds.
- Compiles and generates assigned monthly reports for the Administration Committee for incoming and outgoing accounts.
- Retrieves and processes dividend and interest payments.
- Performs adjustments on estates.
- Serves as back-up to various operations positions.
- Accountable for the understanding of and adherence to operational controls, policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with bank policies and related laws and regulations.
- Carefully review information, identify errors, and maintain accuracy in work, showcasing commitment to producing high-quality results.
- Analyze situations and apply critical thinking to resolve problems and decide on courses of action.
- Attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.

Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:
- Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) with the ability to learn other job specific software applications
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.
- Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating into current and future responsibilities.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in financial services, trust company or financial institution.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Experience working with trust, securities, or bank operations preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
