Job Summary/Overview
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system: Dtools. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, improve Dtools processes, and ensure the system supports the organization's sales and quoting needs effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of business processes and requirements to ensure effective CPQ system design and functionality.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for system configuration.
- Configure and maintain Dtools components, including product catalogs, pricing rules, and quote templates.
- Assist with the implementation of new features and updates to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Assist with the development and execution of test plans to ensure Dtools meets functional and performance requirements.
- Identify and resolve system issues and defects in a timely manner.
- Analyze existing Dtools processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of Dtools.
- Act as user support in setting up accounts, resolving user feedback issues related to all aspects of Dtools (pricing, product application, configuration rules, etc).
- Manage Dtools related projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new feature implementations.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Facilitate communication between product technical teams and web applications developers to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of CPQ requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on system performance and project progress to management.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
- CMCO Conveyance product, conveyor application and product pricing knowledge through experience or hands-on training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competence with technical documentation software and tools.
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in written materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and logistics.
- Competence with CPQ system tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in CPQ system administration, configuration, or analysis preferred.
- Experience with CPQ software (Driveworks) preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
