Overview/ Job Responsibilities The System Administrator will serve as a Command and Control (C2) System Administrator within Communication and Information Systems Directorate (N6) by supporting the Data Fusion Center (DFC) under Commander U.S. Pacific Fleet's MOC. The C2 System Administrator will provide technical expertise, implementation, maintenance, sustainment, and planning of C2 systems and applications. The C2 System Administrator will ensure the day-to-day operation, technical supervision, and security of mission-critical C2 systems and network services supporting mission readiness of COMPACFLT (CPF) and subsidiary Joint Taskforce. Candidate will also serve as the Systems and Network virtualization SME for CPF C2 LAN for the Communication and Information Systems Directorate (N6). The candidate would be responsible for the design and maintenance of the virtualized server farm supporting CPF N63 and provide system administrator support, referred to as "on-site" support,which refers to the administrator's physical location and proximity to the deployed system and users at COMPACFLT. The support will ensure the daily operations of STACC systems and apply requisite patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain the security posture of the STACC instance. Additionally, the system administrator will be required to support exercises where longer shifts may be required, with prior authorization, to ensure system uptime. The administrator will also be the communication conduit for localized COMPACFLT technical issues that may require STACC systems engineering reachback. Technical Expertise and Direct Enhanced Support include the following areas: *Provide system administration, system integration, and application support for DFC mission systems to include Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Radiant Mercury, and Automated Identification System (AIS). This position is a Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position as described in the DOD 8570.01-M. Upon request of the Information Assurance Manager (IAM), the employee shall provide documentation supporting their information assurance certification status. The employee must maintain certification status in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M. Employee not reporting onboard with DOD 8570.01-M certification requirements shall not be allowed to function in their intended position until fully certified or will be removed from the position. This position requires a technically competent, cyber smart individual to perform the functions and tasks associated with this position. Minimum Qualifications *Final/active SECRET clearance at time of period of performance start. *Bachelor's degree with related experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or STEM, and two years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity. Comparable experience in lieu of degree. Desired Qualifications *Bachelor's degree with related experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or STEM, and two years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity. *Previous experience serving as the technical point of contact for C2 systems and applications. *Previous experience as the Systems and Network virtualization SME for CPF C2 LAN for the Communication and Information Systems Directorate (N6). *Previous experience supporting the design and maintenance of the virtualized server farm supporting CPF N63.
