Position Title:Patient Safety Risk Manager
Department:Patient Safety & Regulatory Accreditation
Job Description:
General Description: Under general direction, the Patient Safety Risk Manager supports systemwide patient safety and risk mitigation activities by assisting with event review, data preparation, and basic components of the patient safety program. This role helps investigate patient events, contributes to developing action plans with guidance, and supports regulatory readiness activities. The PSRM collaborates with team members and leaders to learn foundational patient safety practices and build capability in event analysis, documentation, and improvement support. General Responsibilities:
Level I Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or other related field required Experience: At least 1 year of experience in healthcare required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required, or attainment within 12 months of hire. Current RN License required. Level 2 Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or other related field required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, clinical practice, patient safety, regulatory compliance, or risk management required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required, or attained within 12 months of hire. Current RN License required. Level 3 Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or other related field required Experience: At least five (5)years of experience in healthcare, clinical practice, patient safety, regulatory compliance, or risk management required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required. Current RN License required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
