The School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE) in the Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at West Virginia University invites applications for a full-time, 11-month Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Environmental, Energy and Land Management (EELM) program. The EELM program is a distinctive and highly successful academic program with strong industry partnerships and exceptional student career outcomes. The program maintains accreditation through the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and is one of only two AAPL-accredited programs in the eastern United States and among only ten nationwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help lead and grow a nationally recognized program that prepares students for careers in energy, land management, right-of-way, environmental consulting, and related industries throughout Appalachia and beyond. Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth and success of the EELM program through teaching, student engagement, industry collaboration, and program coordination. This is a full-time, 11-month, non-tenure-track faculty position with responsibilities distributed 70% in teaching and 30% in service. Primary responsibilities include:
