Position Title: Service Coordinator

Reporting to: Service Manager

Department: Service

We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Service Coordinator to help support that mission.

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Coordinator develops service contracts and manages the work order process for generator services by providing first-class Customer Service. They also manage the new generator sales internal process and supports the outside sales team by performing site walks for new generator start-up projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Service





  • Develop strong relationships with electrical and general contractors, home builder companies, hospitals, government agencies and other industrial and commercial end users





  • Follow-up with Service department for scheduling of PM maintenance





  • Sales





  • Plan maintenance agreements for generators, product-specific extended warranties and diesel fuel services





  • Quote and close the sales of PM Agreements/Sold Services to commercial and industrial customers. Follow up and assist with all documentation





  • Administrative





  • Review work orders





  • Liaison between sales team and technicians





  • Ensure all documents are completed up to company standards





  • Supervisory





  • Supervise team of technicians





  • Follow up with team on status of repairs





  • Ensure QC checks are created and implemented

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS




  • High school diploma or equivalent required





  • Relevant technical degree/diploma preferred





  • AS400 experience





  • Experience in processing work orders





  • Proactive thinking and effective verbal and written communication





  • Customer-facing sales experience





  • Supervisory experience in sales and/or service environment




WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
