Canyon Creek Behavioral Health is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Central Texas town of Temple, Texas. Canyon Creek features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care and intensive outpatient programs. Position Summary: Clinical Program Director The Clinical Program Director is responsible for the administrative / clinical supervision of designated clinical program(s) ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to patients. The Clinical Program Director will provide program development, coordination and implementation of services to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Responsibilities includes procuring information from patients, community, and community liaison team, designing, implementing and managing quality of services to patients. Job responsibilities include marketing the program to referral sources, physicians and the community. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field. Experience: Requires a minimum three (3) years' experience in direct mental health service provision (acute inpatient psychiatric health care preferred), with direct experience in case management, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure and experience and/ or student internship hours may be considered. Preferred: Possess current and active state licensure as a LPC-A, LPC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW. Additional Requirements: Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for healthcare professional's certification, annual professional skills verification, and HWC (Handle with Care) behavioral management certification.
