The Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago is an
AACSB-accredited institution and presently has about 2,000 undergraduate and 500 graduate students, 95 full-time faculty, and six endowed chairs. Quinlan is housed in the Schreiber Center, a
LEED Gold certified building completed in 2015 and designed to support the school's work to prepare high quality, ethical business leaders who are difference-makers. Located less than a mile from Chicago's Loop and two blocks from the Magnificent Mile, Loyola's Quinlan School of Business sits in the heart of Chicago, a world-class destination for commerce and culture. Quinlan's location provides close connections to Chicago's business community.
Loyola University Chicago is also part of an international network of Jesuit Catholic educational institutions. The School supports an undergraduate business curriculum, including a major and minor in Accounting, an evening
MBA program with both full-time and flex-time students, an
EMBA and other executive education programs, and six specialty master's programs including a Master of Science in Accounting. Quinlan's undergraduate business program was ranked #1 in Chicago (U.S. News & World Report) and multiple graduate programs are in the top 25 (U.S. News & World Report).
The Department of Accounting and Business Law in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites candidates to apply for a full-time, one-year, non-tenure-track faculty appointment, to begin in Fall 2026. Teaching experience in accounting in a university setting is expected, as is broad professional experience in accounting. Evidence of professional leadership and recognition (such as participation and leadership in industry associations, or presentations of research or significant achievements in accounting) are highly desired.
The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate or graduate accounting courses under the mentorship of experienced faculty who oversee the curriculum. Administrative responsibilities include participation in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for our accounting programs.

In addition to teaching and administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate will also build relationships with the business community in the Chicago area to support internship and mentoring projects within Loyola's accounting programs. |
