- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Advanced
- Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Central line blood draw, Developmental Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), High Frequency Ventilation, Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Sepsis, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, Neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU III, Nitric Oxide (INo), Oxygen Delivery Systems, Patient/family teaching, Blood glucose monitoring, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Management of Chest Tubes, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Oscillators, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Respiratory distress syndrome, Seizure disorders, Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Steroids, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surfactants, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Thermoregulation, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter)
