Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer II - Card Production in Jacksonville, FL - to contribute to the development and support of applications that manage card production, personalization, shipping, and billing operations. Ensure secure, timely, and efficient card production using latest technologies, modern web development frameworks, API development, and integration with third-party tools such as ConnectShip Progistics, Advanced Distribution Solutions, and FedEx Ship Manager Server. Develop and maintain configuration modules and scripts for onboarding new customers, setting up issuers with card templates, shipping profiles, and automating provisioning. Build and support backend systems for initializing inventory configurations, including card stock, warehouse mapping, and production floor integration. Create and maintain router applications and data processing engines for reading.INI files and determining routing rules. Implement automated monitoring tools to track card production from printing through dispatch. Develop modules handling card personalization logic, ensuring security and format compliance. Build client-facing web applications for real-time order tracking, dashboard access, and report generation. Design and support Code Connect APIs for client integration and innovation. Integrate event-driven systems for real-time alerts on operations, security, and compliance. Build and consume RESTful APIs for both internal modules and external integrations. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize data access layers in Microsoft SQL Server for tracking card production jobs, shipment records, and billing transactions. Integrate with third-party tools such as ShipIT, RequestIT, and FedEx Ship Manager Server to automate package labeling, shipment tracking, and manifest generation. Handle error logging, retries, and exception handling related to third-party system responses. Develop real-time and scheduled reporting tools to track job status, throughput, and SLA performance. Automate billing by integrating production data with invoicing systems based on job volume and shipping. Create reconciliation tools to validate billing data against production and shipment logs. Address code vulnerabilities via Checkmarx, refactoring for security improvements. Configure Akamai to ensure web/API protection and optimal performance at scale. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with RESTful API development and integration, including ShipIT, RequestIT and FedEx Shipping Manager; working with router applications for processing .INI files; implementing SQL skills in Microsoft SQL Server for writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing data layers; working with backend programming using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript for automation, data processing, and integration tasks; utilizing Frontend development knowledge with Angular, AG-Grid, and Highcharts to build dashboards and client-facing applications; working with event-driven architecture and tools real-time alerts and processing; and understanding of application security including addressing static code analysis results from Checkmarx, resolving vulnerabilities and configuring Akamai web application firewall tools.
