The Director of Operations will oversee Manufacturing operations and have direct ownership of the production deliverables for all Manufacturing areas including; Production Assembly, Production Test, and Manufacturing Engineering at the highest level. This individual provides leadership in the areas of continuous improvement, talent management and corporate policy development, through a solutions-driven management approach that delivers measurable results in maintaining sustainable financial growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate with managers and supervisors on the day-to-day operations to ensure that Sechan delivers added value to its customers, while meeting and exceeding financial objectives.
* Active participation in strategic business planning to support continuous growth of the Lititz manufacturing operations.
* Regularly review and communicate department performance in attaining goals, measuring performance, and delivering on established corporate metrics.
* Develop and maintain a skilled workforce through timely coaching and feedback, cross-training, and employee development.
* Maintain a sound organizational development plan by establishing policies to drive retention, attract top talent and ensure adequate development of future managers and leaders through succession planning and training initiatives.
* Develop, implement and execute on strategic plans and financial goals across the operational landscape to meet deliverables and drive continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:
* Leverage knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Quality to enhance delivery and increase efficiencies to reduce cost. Actively participate in continuous improvement projects with the operations team.
* Improve on established corporate metrics related to product quality acceptance at test and inspection, and on-time customer deliveries. Take corrective action as needed.
* Maintain a manufacturing environment that consistently meets the product and facility requirements for ISO900 and AS9100 standards. Performs regular physical assessments of the facility and identifies areas for process improvement.
* Assist and support Program Management and Engineering in new product introduction. Align the Manufacturing Engineering team to support new products, programs and contracts. Includes coordinating the Manufacturing Engineers to ensure accurate item configuration.
* Participate and interface with various cross-functional teams to manage the manufacturing schedule and resources to maximize customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate and coordinate manufacturing activities between the Sechan site locations.
* Support the bid and proposal processes by gaining an understanding of the proposal requirements and effectively managing labor estimates.
* Serve on the management team as a trusted advisor and partner with the Executive team to develop and meet the company's mission and strategic goals. Ensure that the operations functions are in alignment with the plan.
* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a participative, team management approach to embrace organizational empowerment.
* Strong numerical and analytic reasoning capability.
* Well-developed written and oral communications skills.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with a diverse workforce and interface with all levels of the organization.
* Strong organizational and project management skills and possess the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and databases.

Qualifications:
* BS/BA in related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of progressive product integration management experience in a high reliability manufacturing environment.
* Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

Work Environment:
* Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
* Be available during core business hours (1st shift). Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.
* 9/80 work schedule.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* Office located in Lititz, PA, with occasional visited to Lancaster facility.
