SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, coordinating and supervising the work activities involved with new products and related software that benefit MPCI (Multiple Peril Crop Insurance), CH (Crop Health) and/or NP (New Producer) crop insurance policies of the Windmark Crop Division, Windmark Insurance Agency and Windmark's affiliated agencies nationwide. Also responsible for developing and attaining new premium volume goals within the national marketing region(s). Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Develops and assists in maintaining new business volume with identifiable agencies in applicable national marketing regions.


Develops and organizes the new products and related workflow through the applicable insurance company and Windmark Crop Division. Monitors any deadlines and work output within said process to ensure deadlines are met.


Coordinates the Windmark Crop Division work by planning and directing work assignments involved with developing new products, provisions, regulations, and/or applicable software.


Check all layers of the new products to ensure accuracy, identifying and marking errors and making corrections.


Monitors new products software and the updating of software to ensure accuracy, the inclusion of new and/or changed information, and compliance with rules and regulations.


Identifies and compiles database information to create reports in response to requests.


Trains staff members and/or agents in use of the new products software and the interpretation of source documents.


Develops and organizes the related workflow through the applicable insurance company, Windmark Crop Division, branch agencies and/or affiliated agencies. Monitors any deadlines and work output within said agencies to ensure processing deadlines are met.


Answers questions and provides information to the agents, agricultural producers and to staff members regarding assessment of new products, software and similar matters/documents, communicating by phone, mail and/or email.


Completes the required 90 Day Business Plan, if applicable.


Informs President of the status and concerns of the Windmark direct agents and/or affiliated agencies.


Monitors new software releases and upgrades to ensure proper use and utilization.


Monitors and checks outgoing reports and policy forms.


Comply with management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).


Performs other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Ten (10) or more years Experience in the use of insurance company equipment, agency equipment and general office practices



SKILLS


In-depth knowledge of MPCI, CH and specialty programs and the applicable underwriting rules and procedure


Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks


Ability to effectively communicate and maintain business relationships with insurance company personnel and outside resource customers


Ability to perform basic and complex mathematical calculations


Ability to work well with people in a team environment


Ability to work from oral and written communications


Ability to maintain confidentiality


Ability to assist in other work related areas as required


Ability to comprehend questions and concerns over the telephone and to provide correct and courteous answers


Ability to effectively communicate and maintain business relationships with insurance company personnel and outside resource customers


Ability to learn and apply detailed information about the industry and insurance company's products, services, processes and systems used in the industry and the companies
