Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion)
Location: Gresham, OR
Employment Type: Direct hire employee

Compensation: $25/hour to $50/hour DOE, plus sign on bonus, plus shift differential
Schedule: Night Shift B - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday e/o Saturday 7 PM -7:06 AM night shift differential of 15% is added.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
  • Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
  • Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
  • Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
  • Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
  • Vendor management and coordination.
  • Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
  • Work is performed in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing a smock, hood, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses.
  • May require the use of an APR (air-purifying respirator).
  • May require the occasional use of personal protective equipment, including but not limited to aprons, heat gloves, and full-face masks.
  • Requires standing for up to 75% of the shift
  • Requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • May require work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and voltages up to 1500 Volts.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring (Requirements):
  • Associate's degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics Engineering or equivalent military experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior technician experience on semiconductor diffusion equipment that includes practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls along with at least some of the following: SEMITOOL batch spray solvent tools, Siconnex batch spray solvent tool, DNS WS-820L, WS-820C, FC820L, FC821L, FC820L-2, and MEI Evolution Wet benches. LAM(SEZ) SP-203, 223, 4200, and Davinci single wafer cleaning tools.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Knowledge of the Wet and Solvent areas, including general process theory and equipment mechanics
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation when they are developing.
  • Understands and supports the 5S process.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
