Join the WETS Product Group, a highly collaborative organization focused on delivering advanced wet processing equipment for the semiconductor industry. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the design, development, and launch of next-generation semiconductor manufacturing equipment, supporting critical New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept through production.
Working alongside Systems, Process, Electrical, Controls, Software, and Manufacturing Engineering teams, you'll help develop innovative mechanical solutions that meet aggressive performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability goals.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Translate subsystem requirements into detailed 3D models, layouts, drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Create and maintain CAD models and design documentation in accordance with engineering standards
  • Perform engineering analyses including tolerance studies, structural evaluations, thermal considerations, and manufacturability assessments
  • Collaborate with Systems, Process, Electrical, Controls, Software, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure successful subsystem integration
  • Support NPI phase gate reviews and deliver assigned design milestones on schedule
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, DFMEA activities, and root cause investigations
  • Support prototype builds, integration, testing, debugging, verification, and validation activities
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality, cost, serviceability, and manufacturability
  • Assist with sustaining engineering activities and field issue resolution
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience using Siemens NX, Creo, or similar 3D CAD software
What Sets You Apart:
  • Semiconductor equipment design experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience interpreting engineering requirements, drawings, specifications, and interface documentation
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills using diagnostic and measurement tools such as DVMs, calipers, and dial indicators
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Reliability (DFR), Design for Serviceability (DFS), and Design for Safety principles
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience participating in DFMEA reviews and corrective action programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in long-term technical growth and advancement into senior engineering roles

  • Position is fully onsite
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on project schedules and product development milestones
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred but not required
