Job Description:
Engineering - Controls Performs a controls function for a larger mechanical or electrical system which applies control theory to design systems with desired behaviors. These activities focus on implementation of control systems mainly derived by mathematical modeling of systems of a diverse range.

*These roles will spend a lot of time on the production floor supporting machine down time to get them back up and running.
*Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies, acting as the technical expert during unplanned events and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
*Troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues; providing technical support to maintenance, tool room and production, as requested.
*Recommend, specify and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
*Plan, coordinate and implement repairs, modifications and improvements to equipment and tooling.
*Ensure equipment is properly released to production after preventative maintenance or repairs.
*Lead Kaizen events resulting in higher line output and greater efficiency.
*Utilize maintenance and tooling management system, purchase order system and various other planning systems.
*Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas for the operations team.
*Model and promote adherence to OSHA regulations and Client environmental, health and safety policies and initiatives.
*Fostering a positive working relationship with union representatives by adhering to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
*There is opportunity to extend beyond 09/30/26, in the event we do not fill the job via Client recruitment. There is also potential for conversion to Client depending on the performance/ conversion fees.
