Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials such as cement, aggregates, admixtures, rebar, and embedded items for precast concrete production
- Source and evaluate vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability
- Involved with negotiations of pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and shortages
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and project management teams to forecast material needs
- Resolve supplier issues related to delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in construction materials or precast concrete manufacturing
- Knowledge of precast materials, production processes, and supply chain logistics
- Experience with ERP or procurement software systems
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (preferred)

Working Conditions
- Office environment with occasional visits to production facilities or supplier sites. May require coordination with vendors outside standard working hours
