Description

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking an Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Aspen Center. Located in Waukesha County, Aspen Center provides residential substance use treatment for men in a supportive, recovery-focused environment. Our mission is to empower individuals with the skills, support, and resources they need to achieve lasting recovery and long-term sobriety.

As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll play an important role in helping residents build healthier, more independent lives. Each day, you'll provide encouragement, supervision, and compassionate support while creating a safe, structured environment where recovery can thrive. From helping residents develop life skills to supporting treatment goals and celebrating milestones, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible 2nd shift opportunity working Thursday through Monday from 2:00 PM-10:00 PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents.
  • Observe, document, and report resident behaviors, progress, and daily activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
  • Monitor and/or administer medications in accordance with program policies.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
  • Support residents in achieving their individualized treatment goals.
  • Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, life skills development, and other activities of daily living.
  • Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and other approved activities.
  • Collect urine specimens for urinalysis and administer breathalyzer tests as required.
  • Facilitate educational and skill-building groups within program guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality while communicating professionally with residents, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
