As aOperations Supervisor you will lead the day-to-day activities of a business unit, ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and a positive customer experience. This role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating resources, resolving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining alignment with company goals and service standards. You will play a key role in coaching and developing employees, managing workflow and priorities, and partnering across departments to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for internal and external customers.

Location Information: This position is in our Water Manufacturing facility located in Scarborough, ME

In this role:

  • You will supervise the daily activities of a business unit, functional area, or program.

  • You will assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members.

  • You will administer employment actions and support employee engagement and growth.

  • You will plan and organize work activities to ensure adequate staffing, resource allocation, and timely completion of objectives.

  • You will maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and manage escalated or critical issues.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate work and resolve operational challenges.

  • You will participate in and lead projects and initiatives that support business objectives.

  • You will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience.

  • You will utilize data, metrics, and reporting tools to evaluate performance and drive informed decision-making.

  • You will proactively identify and address obstacles, risks, and operational issues.

  • You will support the maintenance and functionality of department technology, systems, and resources.

  • You will coordinate with vendors and internal partners to resolve technology and operational concerns.

  • You will prepare reports, summaries, and analyses to communicate performance, trends, and recommendations.

  • You will maintain knowledge of industry developments, products, services, and best practices relevant to your area of responsibility.

  • You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • 1-2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and direct work activities effectively.

  • Experience supporting operations, products, services, or functional areas related to the team supervised.

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Project management and coordination experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology systems.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily a general office environment with standard noise levels.

  • Extensive sitting, standing, and computer use.

  • Frequent use of hands and arms for reaching, handling, and computer work.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, balancing, or climbing.

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds as required.

  • Fluency in the English language required.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Some positions may require working around moving electro-mechanical equipment and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
