| Position Highlights |
The University of Arizona's Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry within the College of Science invites you to apply to the role of Postdoctoral Research Associate. In this role, you will contribute to innovative research in theoretical chemistry, advancing our understanding of physical and chemical processes in complex systems. Our research program combines the development of novel computational and theoretical methods with their application to scientific challenges of broad significance, addressing questions that are important to both the research community and society. The successful candidate must have extensive experience modeling the proteins of cardiac muscle and with such rare event simulation methods as Transition Path Sampling and Metadynamics. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is a university-wide unit with staff and faculty across both the College of Science and the College of Medicine. Our world-class research addresses critical topics in the chemical and biochemical sciences through the integration of multiple disciplines, including energy science and engineering, materials science and engineering, optical science, physics, computational science, biochemistry, chemical biology, biomedical engineering, drug discovery, structural biology, and molecular and cellular biology. Our vision is to be a world leader in the chemical and biochemical sciences through cutting-edge education, research, and community impact that enhance our understanding of the world and improve quality of life. Come join a collaborative, innovative, and dynamic team as we continue advancing discovery, education, and impact across the chemical and biochemical sciences. Outstanding U of A benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; U of A/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; access to U of A recreation and cultural activities; and more! The University of Arizona has been recognized for our innovative work-life programs. For more information about working at the University of Arizona and relocations services, please click here. |

| Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures. Paper copies of the Reports can be obtained by contacting the University Compliance Office at cleryact@arizona.edu. |
