We are searching for a dedicated, dynamic, and innovative Estimator to join an innovative project development and delivery team within our engineering division. This is an incredible opportunity to directly influence the integration of various renewable energy sources into our distribution system and support vital infrastructure projects across our service territory. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating designs, optimizing selections, and ensuring the financial viability of groundbreaking initiatives.

**What You'll Do**

* Develop complex, multidisciplinary conceptual, authorization, and appropriation cost estimates for substation construction and transmission facilities.

* Create estimates based on preliminary work scopes, drawings, and sketches for diverse projects.

* Evaluate alternative designs and actively contribute to optimal design selection.

* Support the integration of renewable energy generation into electrical distribution systems.

* Contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects across the service territory.

* Collaborate with co-workers to make sound decisions and drive project success.

* Manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities while consistently meeting stringent deadlines.

* Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, personal safety, and exemplary customer service.

**What You'll Bring**

* Bachelor's degree.

* Proven experience developing electrical, mechanical, and/or civil cost estimates for transmission and/or substation projects.

* In-depth knowledge of the engineering, design, and construction of substations and transmission facilities.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

* Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities under pressure.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach.

* Proficiency with standard office suites, project management software, and estimating computer applications/databases.

* Self-motivated, resourceful, and accountable with a strong customer-service mindset.

**Bonus Points**

* Understanding of capital budgeting processes and utility economics.

* Experience preparing authorization and appropriation estimates.

* Familiarity with local, state, national, and industry codes and standards.

* Experience supporting renewable energy integration projects.
