The impact you'll make

Develops, implements and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities. Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations. Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you'll do

As the Manager of the factory quality program managers, you will be the cross-functional leader of the quality business process health, execution, and efficiency between the customer, field, and factory resources. Serves as the central resource and escalation point where guidance and/or conflict resolution is required to achieve efficient operational execution while delivering on quality objectives. Recognized as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all facets of the Global Operations Quality business process end to end and partners with the factory and field in discovery of opportunities for business process and system improvements. Collaborates with product management on defining and validating business requirements and ensuring the effectiveness of programs and change management.

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience
  • Expert understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and systems
  • Strong supplier management and methodologies to drive systematic quality performance improvement
  • Ability to perform in depth data analysis required to visually represent, influence, and resolve complex business process, systems, and quality problems
  • Excellent performer in a highly matrixed environment with competing priorities and schedules
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Leading cross-functional teams to successful achievement of objectives
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Qlik, SAP, IE, etc.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 5 yrs quality experience within a large organization
  • Semiconductor Product Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Field Service preferred
  • Business process and system development, alignment, and implementation for a large organization

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
