The EDM Specialist will have opportunity to work on advanced equipment including 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC machines, Swiss turning, and several different Wire EDM machines in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

What You'll Do
  • Create and load programs into machine(s), making adjustments as needed
  • Advanced part setup to run components through the wire EDM machines per print
  • Program 4 axis and solid modeled parts
  • Produce parts off the wire EDM machines per print having knowledge of axis rotation
  • Clean and maintain machines for expanded life capacity
  • Read and understand blueprints and G&M codes
  • Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
  • Run multiple machines and complete production documentation
  • Support LEAN, 5S, ISO 9001-2015, and ISO 13485 initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of wire EDM experience in a job shop environment
  • Strong programming skills with ability to monitor and adapt software
  • Espirit programming knowledge and Mitsubishi wire EDM experience a plus
  • Strong math, blueprint reading, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and run multiple machines
  • Journeyman's card in CNC and/or tool making also a plus
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
