We are seeking a skilled Engineering Field Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a pivotal link between design teams, project management, contractors, and clients by executing detailed field assessments of MEP systems across a variety of complex high-tech industrial and semiconductor infrastructure projects. Your primary focus will be conducting comprehensive site walks and evaluations to validate design intent in the field, govern RFI responses, and support change control processes to mitigate project risks. This position will require you to work onsite and be located in the Chandler, AZ area.

Responsibilities

    Conduct thorough field walks to assess project sites, shadow various trades during hookup and installation, identifying potential challenges, and proposing viable solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Perform detailed audits of project plans, designs, and implementation strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on field walk assessments and audit findings, documenting observations, recommendations, and any necessary corrective actions.
  • Provide hands-on support and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize project performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, considering field walk and audit findings for effective project execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including Project Managers, discipline leads, contractors, vendors, etc., ensuring alignment and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies based on field walk and audit findings, contributing to the continuous improvement of project execution methodologies.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience conducting field walks, site assessments, and evaluations in diverse project environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive onsite support, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Familiarity with construction, infrastructure, or similar industries is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. Opportunity for ample rewards and leadership incentive/bonus program
