Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Material Handler II to support manufacturing operations by accurately managing inventory, processing material transactions, and ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate production areas in a timely manner. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production flow, and operating within a quality-focused manufacturing environment while following established safety and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform physical and system-based material movements to support manufacturing operations.
  • Generate and process work orders using an ERP system.
  • Complete work order receipts accurately within the ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and inventory control activities.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to production and assembly areas in a timely manner.
  • Assist with coordinating the flow of materials throughout manufacturing and assembly operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to support production goals.
  • Safely handle chemicals and other regulated materials after completing required training.
  • Support quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and operating procedures.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory transactions, work orders, and material movement processes.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Ability to safely handle chemicals following required training.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required throughout the workday.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED required.


Work Experience



  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
