Primary Purpose
Supports engineering processes by performing structured tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to established procedures. Contributes to operational efficiency through accurate assembly, inspection, and data entry that uphold quality and compliance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Participates in failure analysis investigations to determine operational issue sources.
  • Assists in planning and executing maintenance programs to optimize system reliability.
  • Tracks and documents the functionality of critical infrastructure, flags issues for preventive maintenance.
  • Collects and analyzes operational data to support performance assessments and decision-making.
  • Keeps organized records of maintenance, production, and project-related data.
  • Assists in monitoring emissions, waste management, and environmental reporting.
  • Conducts basic visual inspections of infrastructure, identifies obvious defects or anomalies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education



  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.


Experience



  • Required: Typically requires 1 year of related experience.

  • Required: Engineering Design - A series of steps that engineers follow to find a solution to a problem.
  • Required: Troubleshooting - The systematic process of diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, or network issues to restore normal operation.
  • Required: Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Required: Equipment Maintenance and Repair - Any process used to keep a business's equipment in reliable working order, including routine upkeep as well as corrective repair.
  • Required: Engineering Blueprint/Schematics Interpretation - Reading Engineering drawings and understanding the ideas and information that they are intended to communicate.
  • Required: Root Cause Analysis - The process of discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Required: Regulatory Compliance - Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
  • Required: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management - The systematic approach to maintain health and safety at occupation and protect the environment.
  • Required: Project/Program Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
