Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Department of Materials Science and Engineering, in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral scholar. The final candidate will: o Develop phase-field models and computer codes of mesoscale structure evolution. o Prepare manuscripts for publications and research reports to sponsors. The final candidate must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, or Physics, or other related fields. Experience in engineering or physical sciences backgrounds and at least 5 years of related experience in computational materials research during Ph.D. and prior postdoctoral research is preferred.
