Overview
This position is responsible for providing advanced technical support to data processing systems. Analyzes existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures that improve processing capabilities. Assists the installation of programs and procedures developed in coordination with end user groups. Enhances data processing systems and procedures through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group. Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities: Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. System Testing - Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluates and conveys testing results. Performs coding and assists in implementing system modifications and enhancements. Business Support - Provides technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve processing capabilities. Works closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives. Technical Proficiency - Utilizes knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software. Serves as a resource on data processing systems and procedures. On-call Support - Provides 24/7 on-call support via rotation. Position Specific Skills: Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#); ASP.NET Core; JavaScript; HTML 5; XML; SQL Scripting and Powershell Scripting Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system Experience with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (like Waterfall and Agile) Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating basis Qualifications: Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 6 years' experience in Application software programming Preferred Education:Other Preferred Area of Study:Computer Science Preferred Area of Experience:MS.NET; ASP.NET; SQL Scripting; Powershell Scripting Required Licenses or Certifications: Preferred Licenses or Certifications: Additional Information Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
