About the Position

LAZ Parking is seeking customer-focused Valet Attendants to support operations at premier client locations throughout Seattle, including luxury hotels and senior living communities. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming arrival experience, safely handling vehicles, and delivering exceptional service to guests, residents, family members, and visitors.

Successful candidates are personable, dependable, and comfortable working in a variety of service-focused environments. Whether assisting hotel guests during their stay or helping residents and families at senior living communities, Valet Attendants play an important role in providing a positive first and last impression.

Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

Pay: $21.030 - $22.00/hour + Tips at Eligible Locations

The Spirit of the Position:

A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.

What you will do:



  • Greet guests, residents, family members, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Safely park and retrieve customer vehicles.
  • Assist with resident and guest arrivals and departures.
  • Help with luggage, packages, mobility devices, or personal belongings as needed.
  • Maintain organized vehicle staging and parking areas.
  • Provide directions and general property information.
  • Support traffic flow and curbside operations.
  • Work closely with hotel, community, and property staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow company safety and vehicle handling procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional service with every interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, senior living, concierge services, valet operations, transportation, restaurants, or customer-facing positions.
  • Experience providing service to residents, guests, visitors, or families.
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:


  • Valid Driver's License (Minimum of 2 yrs+)
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Good under pressure. You don't fold and get overwhelmed easily. Instead, you prefer chaos so you can kick its butt.
  • Good at communicating and can speak, read, and comprehend English easily.
  • A team player. You're open to different opinions and can help motivate your team.
  • Experienced in the hospitality industry (Parking, Restaurants, Hotels, etc) is preferred.


Physical Demands:


  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
