As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient-care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and provide directions or assistance to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
