Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, rotating Wednesdays, 10am-7pm

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a busy IOP/Clinic environment with a focus on pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform approximately 32 blood draws per day.
  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture techniques while ensuring patient comfort.
  • Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain specimen integrity by following established handling and transportation procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety, quality, and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture experience.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for 6-7 hours during the workday.
  • Comfortable working in an IOP/Clinic setting with pediatric patients.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work performance are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (preferred).
