Description

As an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-level support to the Senior Director and leadership team at the Simms Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology.You'll be at the center of a dynamic environment-managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing presentations and reports, and helping bring important events and initiatives to life. Your responsibilities will include coordinating Ambassador Board and Founder's Board meetings, organizing regional meetings and all-staff onsite events, and assisting with other special events across the department. You'll also manage catering, print materials, department recharges, reimbursements, service requests, and other operational needs, while providing back-up support to fellow administrators.

Beyond day-to-day administration, you'll contribute to the Simm Mann's strategic work by helping coordinate and track initiatives, organize and visualize data, monitor departmental goals and key performance indicators, and develop tools to keep projects and deliverables on track. You'll serve as a trusted resource and welcoming point of contact for leaders, staff, and external partners-anticipating needs, solving problems, and ensuring that meetings, programs, and special events are thoughtfully organized and run smoothly.

Salary Range: $32.20-51.36 Hourly

The full salary range for this position is $32.20-51.36/hour.Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the start and midpoint of this range.

Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience or training.
* Effective writing skills to manage academic publications/presentations/abstracts, develop concise, effective and professional business correspondence, presentations and reports.
* Financial skills sufficient to calculate percentages, ratios, rates in order to: determine costs, provide financial projections, and prepare analytical reports.
* Analytical skills to evaluate data, solve problems, draw conclusions and make sound recommendations.
*Effective verbal communications and interpersonal skills to actively listen, respond to the business need, and convey information concisely and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
*Demonstrated skills in using various software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, in a Windows environment.
*Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, coworkers and public.
*Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
*Ability to work with confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion.
