Our colleagues are passionate, driven, entrepreneurial and collaborative, while having a lot of fun along the way. *JOB OVERVIEW* The Manager, VIC Activations owns the planning, coordination, and execution of the Flagship's luxury client activation calendar, ensuring exceptional experiences for Bloomingdale's most valued clients. This role serves as the store point of coordination for VIC Activations, partnering with Store Leadership, Luxury Client Engagement, Integrated Marketing, Merchants, and Vendor Partners to deliver experiences that strengthen client relationships, elevate brand partnerships, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-oriented, and execution-focused, with a passion for luxury retail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and experiences simultaneously. The Manager, VIC Activations reports to the 59th Street Director of Top Client Development and is part of the broader Flagship leadership team. This role partners closely with the Corporate Luxury Client Engagement team as a key contributor to the growth of Bloomingdale's luxury top client business. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* *Owns the Flagship VIC Activation Calendar* * Owns the annual and seasonal calendar of VIC activations for the Flagship, partnering with Store and Corporate teams to align business priorities, client opportunities, and brand partnerships. * Works with stakeholders across Luxury Client Engagement, Store Leadership, Integrated Marketing, Merchants, and Vendor Partners to plan and execute activations that meet or exceed client expectations. * Oversees the client nomination process for events and experiences, partnering with Top Client Development team, sellers, and store leadership to identify, review, and align client participation opportunities with business priorities and experience objectives. * Maintains visibility to upcoming activations and ensures all participating teams are prepared for successful execution. *Leads Activation Readiness & Execution* * Serves as the store coordinator throughout the activation lifecycle, including planning, preparation, execution, hosting support, and post-event follow-up. * Partners with sellers and client-facing teams to develop thoughtful, bespoke outreach and invitations that make each activation feel personal, intentional, and tailored to the client opportunity. * Ensures all activations adhere to established playbooks, operating standards, and partner agreements. * Provides on-site support for activations, engaging sellers, hosting clients, and ensuring an elevated and seamless experience. * Identifies operational risks and proactively partners across teams to remove barriers to successful execution. * Serves as the store's primary point person for hosted Flagship appointments involving clients and sellers from across the Bloomingdale's network, coordinating preparation, experience execution, and follow-up to ensure exceptional client outcomes. *Drives Insights & Continuous Improvement* * Leads post-activation recaps and ensures timely completion of event reporting, business results, client insights, seller feedback, and future recommendations. * Tracks activation outcomes and identifies opportunities to improve planning, execution, and client impact. * Identifies trends, opportunities, and best practices to strengthen future activations and enhance the luxury client experience. * Serves as a key liaison between Flagship and Corporate teams, providing visibility into activation performance, opportunities, and client feedback. *QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:* We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply * 5+ years of relevant work experience in luxury retail, client development, omnichannel experience with a passion for customers and developing luxury experiences * Outstanding relationship orientation with the ability to build meaningful relationships with Clients, Sellers, Vendor Partners and Key Business Stakeholders * Excellent communication (written, verbal, storytelling) skills; high level of creativity, independence, interpersonal skills, and ability to project confidence * Ability to juggle multiple projects - can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize tasks, and communicate timeline to team members * Maintains confidentiality and security of sensitive company information * Ability to travel, spend time in stores with store colleagues and clients and work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs * Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) This job description is not all inclusive; additionally, Macy's, Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
