Overview This role is primarily responsible for the design, implementation, optimization and management of advanced cloud infrastructure solutions in a multi-cloud environment. Provide hands-on support for cloud infrastructure, develop Infrastructure as Code solutions, and assist application teams with cloud adoption. Proficiency in scripting, cloud architecture, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management - Deploys and manages cloud resources, optimizing configurations for security, performance and cost-effectiveness. Cloud Solution Design - Leads the design and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures for critical applications Infrastructure as Code - Defines and implements best practices for IaC, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation Support - mentor team members providing guidance and technical leadership on complex projects. Engage in research and continuous improvement initiatives to adopt new technologies and best practices. Maintain and share technical documentation to support knowledge transfer within the team. Provides 24/7 on-call support to ensure the availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure Position Specific Skills: Architectural Design & Strategy Cloud Security & Compliance SDLC & CI/CD Integration Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation) Policy as Code & Service Catalogues Programming & Automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python) Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) Monitoring and Observability Tools Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) Cloud and Network Security Architectures Qualifications: Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in cloud Preferred Education: Preferred Area of Study: Preferred Area of Experience: Required Licenses or Certifications: Preferred Licenses or Certifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional - IO;Azure Solutions Architect Expert - IO;HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate - IO;Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional - IO;AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional - IO;Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) - IO;Azure DevOps Engineer Expert - IO Additional Information Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in cloud engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in cloud engineering. Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience or MS with5+ years of relevant experience Experience with multiple cloud platforms is a big plus 10+ years of progressive infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering experience. 7+ years of hands-on Azure engineering and architecture experience. Proven experience leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. Demonstrated success designing andoperatinglarge-scale cloud platforms supporting critical business applications. Deep understanding of cloud architecture frameworks, governance, security, and operational excellence. Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across organizations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to executive leadership. The base pay for this position is generally between $140,000 and $170,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
