Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent manufacturing, production, or industrial work experience will be considered. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skills development programs. Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing, foundry, production, or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions in English. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, or industrial equipment is a plus. Ability to obtain forklift certification. Physical Capabilities Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance when required. Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work overtime as needed to support production demands. Job Duties Produce sand molds for aluminum castings using chemically treated sand, semi-automated machinery, and production tooling. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, overhead cranes, material handling systems, hand tools, and power tools. Maintain molding equipment, tooling, patterns, and workstations in good working condition. Keep the molding line and surrounding work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Learn and apply the technical and chemical processes associated with sand mold production. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain quality production standards.
