We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: ICU Registered Nurse in Irvine, CA.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, Emergency Medications, External ventricular drain (EVD), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Impella, Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Lumbar drains, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Post Neurosurgery management, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Spinal cord injury, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, ECMO, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, GI surgery, Post Craniotomy, Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Traumatic Brain injury, Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventilator Management, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
