3 positions that will work in the Lake View Lounge back of house cooking menu items along with prep work and in the Strada will primarily be a cook but will also serve in customer service functions like preparing pizzas, pasta bowls, & interacting with guests.

Performs a variety of food preparation activities and related tasks according to quality and safety standards in dining, venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals.

Schedule:

Weekly Schedule: subject to change based on business needs

Position 1: Mon - Fri 11am - 5pm

Position 2: Wed - Sun 4pm - 10pm

Position 3: Thu - Sun 12pm - 6pm

These positions are Temporary positions that will end on 12/16/2026.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
  • Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities
  • Trains and guides student workers

Compensation:

$17.00 per hour

*Differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday $.80 per hours is added.

*Differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am an addition $2.50 per hour added.
